District Offerings
At launch, we are unveiling a transformative vision for the EDGE District. While day one will feature a select array of initial offerings, this is only the beginning. Over time, these offerings will evolve into a comprehensive suite of resources designed to empower entrepreneurs and foster growth. Through the establishment of separate governance, sustained momentum, and funding for essential programs, the district will ultimately create a robust consortium of resources that will support and accelerate the development of new and emerging businesses.
UNMC's significant investment in the EDGE District, alongside its expanding suite of offerings, will play a key role in translating scientific discoveries into real-world products and therapies, enhancing health outcomes, and driving economic growth. However, the EDGE District is about more than just University-led innovation and intellectual property. It’s about supporting all innovators in our community and beyond, in whatever ways we can—because when the community prospers, we all benefit.
